Laquisha Cadwalader of Onslow County Parks and Recreation spoke from Hines Farm And Park about the department's outreach to residents for program and facility planning. Cadwalader said the department values public feedback and is using a bilingual survey promoted on park signage, the parks website and Facebook to gather input.

She described a recent ribbon-cutting at the Hines Farm And Park site and said staff are excited about upcoming programs and events. Cadwalader encouraged residents to look for QR codes at parks, visit the parks-and-rec website and use the rec desk phone number, (910) 347-5332, to offer feedback or ask about programs.

Cadwalader said the department provides information in English and Spanish and that survey results will inform future investments in athletics, senior programs and other services to meet community needs.
