At the Dec. 2 meeting, the Golf Course Committee discussed capital funding strategy and administrative limits on revolving‑fund spending, and the committee's role coordinating with the Select Board and Community Preservation Committee (CPC).

A member asked whether the committee should seek to increase or remove the annual spend limit on the revolving fund because the Select Board must approve spending in any case. Committee members said they would consult the Select Board and the CPC chair to ensure irrigation and other higher‑priority capital needs are not blocked by an arbitrary annual limit.

Separately, members discussed restarting the Audubon International program (a golf sustainability/wildlife program) that lapsed during the COVID period. Tony Schonra and others recalled prior contacts at Audubon International and identified Freddie Gillespie as the likely next contact to advance the initiative; members believed some Community Preservation Act funds were set aside when the program was first approved and said someone should verify that account and next steps.

The committee set tentative meeting dates for Feb. 10 and March 10, with March meeting timed to align with town meeting planning. No changes to the revolving‑fund language or formal funding authorizations were voted at this session.
