The governance committee approved the minutes from its Nov. 6 meeting after Speaker 3 moved and Speaker 4 seconded the motion; the committee voice vote was recorded as "Aye" and the motion was approved.

Speaker 1 announced a board retreat set for Dec. 16 from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., where bylaws and board norms will be on the agenda for longer discussion and possible finalization. Speaker 1 also said they would circulate three or four short self-reflection questions for board members (for example: "What's the best thing we did this year?" and "What's the worst thing we did?") to inform retreat discussion.

Speaker 3 moved to adjourn at 12:15 p.m.; Speaker 7 seconded and the meeting adjourned following an "Aye" vote.
