The North Brookfield Board of Selectmen voted to approve a $35,950 grant application to the Massachusetts Office of Grants and Research to implement or expand a law-enforcement body-worn camera (BWC) program.

Chair said Jeff Martin prepared the application and noted the grant requires no town match and the application deadline is tomorrow; he added that "Ryan has signed it." A Selectman moved to approve the application and the board voted in favor.

The board did not discuss a procurement or implementation timeline at the meeting; staff or the police department will follow up on next steps if the grant is awarded.
