The Delaware Valley School District board approved a string of routine business items at its November meeting and recorded one defeated procedural motion.

After returning from an executive session the board voted to adopt the meeting agenda. A later motion to amend the agenda to add two motions under approvals failed in a roll-call vote, 3–6. The minutes from the Oct. 16 meeting were approved with one abstention.

The board accepted the treasurer’s report and approved bills for payment across the general, cafeteria and capital reserve funds. Personnel items including resignations, appointments, changes of status and pay were approved by voice vote. The board also approved additional volunteers and granted tenure to Melissa Danson.

The Delaware Valley School District Chapter 331 K–12 School Counseling Plan was approved, and the board adopted several policy numbering/name changes; one new co‑curricular policy will be reviewed again during the regular review process in January.

One personnel resignation (employee code ending in 01038) was tabled to the next voting meeting on Dec. 18 after an executive-session discussion. No votes on staffing increases were taken.
