During approval of subcommittee minutes on Nov. 24, a member of the salary negotiation subcommittee announced the group had reached a tentative agreement (TA) with the bus drivers for a contract covering 2026–2029. The member thanked negotiators including Sandy Fisher, Susanne Taccio and Jerry McCallough, and the transportation leader Patrick Cunningham, and noted the negotiations concluded efficiently over two meetings.

That announcement occurred as the committee moved to approve the salary negotiation subcommittee minutes (11/19/2025). The motion was made, seconded and approved by voice vote. No further contract terms were read into the record during open session; the member said the subcommittee will handle any remaining ratification or approval steps as appropriate.

There was public thanks from the chair for the subcommittee's work and recognition of staff who supported negotiations. The committee then continued with the published agenda.
