Mister Carriger summarized that Dr. Grayson graduated from Baylor Medical College, completed postgraduate training at the University of Miami in internal medicine, and is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. The presenter said Dr. Grayson's Connecticut license expired in January 2021 and he has practiced recently in Maine; there is no disciplinary action on his Maine license.

Dr. Grayson told the board he has been offered a contract with Bristol Hospital to serve the Southington community and described past hospitalist experience. "I hope that you reinstate me as a practicing physician in Connecticut so that I can go back and see patients," he said.

Board members raised procedural concerns about lapsed licenses but expressed support for reinstatement. Doctor Wolf said he had no problem approving the request and noted administrative frustration when licenses lapse while practitioners live in state. The board voted unanimously to recommend reinstatement.
