At the meeting the South Fayette Township School District board approved a series of routine and business items across the consent agenda, business office, personnel, athletics and construction portfolios.

The board approved consent agenda items 1–6 by voice vote. Business office items including Resolution 25‑06 to continue participation in the AIU joint purchasing board for the 2026–27 school year and a five‑year affiliation agreement with Mercyhurst University (pending solicitor approval) were approved. Personnel items 1–6 — including new hires, substitutions, an elementary special education team lead appointment effective Dec. 11 and leave requests — were approved by motion. Items 7 and 8 (the superintendent and assistant superintendent appointments) were taken separately and approved by roll call (covered in a separate article).

Education item 1 — authorization for an instrumental music teacher and band director to attend the Midwest Clinic International Band and Orchestra Conference in Chicago Dec. 17–19 — was approved with the trip costs covered by the high school budget. The board approved six athletics items together and approved eight construction items together. Miscellaneous items 1–2 were approved; item 3 was presented as a first reading revising board policy 6.26 on procurement of federal programs and federal fiscal compliance.

Motions were generally passed by voice vote; where required, roll call votes were recorded for leadership appointments. No public comments were recorded online during the public comment period reported at the meeting.
