Winneshiek County supervisors approved the winter maintenance resolution as presented and carried a consent agenda without objection.

County Engineer Mike Cunier updated the board on local road and bridge work, saying patches and culvert repairs east of Hesper were completed and that a reinforced concrete pipe installation is scheduled for Dusty Road. He also noted the Neste Valley construction project finished and that a bridge inspector will visit this week to help prioritize future bridge projects.

The board moved and seconded the winter maintenance resolution; a roll-call-type exchange recorded unanimous 'aye' votes and the resolution passed. The consent agenda — including minutes — was similarly approved earlier in the meeting.

Engineer's office items to follow up include finalizing Frankwell Road plans, coordinating with conservation on a finished project and scheduling chainsaw safety training for county crews.

Next steps: Staff will continue project scheduling and report back on bridge inspector recommendations and Frankwell Road progress.
