Darren Gage presented a professional services agreement with Snyder and Associates to perform the preliminary plat and report required by statute for creating the Lisbon‑Mount Vernon area emergency medical services district. Darren said Snyder was appointed as the project engineer in a prior resolution and the proposed agreement is for $7,500.

Darren said Snyder would have 30 days to complete the preliminary plan and report unless the board granted an extension. He added that the county is coordinating with Johnson County so both jurisdictions will align work in the adjacent area. A motion was made and seconded to approve and authorize the chairperson to sign the agreement; the board voted in favor and the chair announced the motion carried.

The board subsequently moved on to other business, including payroll authorizations and adjournment.
