A scheduled public hearing on rezoning case REZ2025-16 (Copeland Road Subdivision, 2480 Copeland Road, approximately 18 acres) was removed from the Lowndes County Commission agenda after staff discovered an advertisement error.

Mister Davenport told the commission, "Staff was able to catch an error in the advertisement for this case. It has proceeded from the planning commission to the county commission as expected, but we're asking for you to not take any action tonight. We're going to re advertise it for the December 9 county commission meeting so we can proceed forward legally." He asked any individuals present to wait until after the meeting to speak so staff could answer questions.

The chair removed the item from the agenda and commissioners did not take action on the rezoning request during the meeting. The case will return to the commission on the Dec. 9 calendar after re-advertisement, according to staff.
