At the review hearing, foster care worker Andrew Boscher summarized recent casework and outstanding needs for each parent and the children.

Boscher described a home visit with father Donald (a one‑bedroom apartment that could be a barrier to overnight parenting), confirmed Donald was starting therapy, and said Donald and other parents are on wait lists for foster‑care supportive visitation services. He reported that Eric has attended weekly therapy but that progress notes and testing paperwork were still outstanding. Boscher said Kayleen is currently unemployed and not yet engaged in individual therapy.

On the children, Boscher noted recent progress in the youngest child’s speech and behavior and said the oldest child has some behavioral issues being addressed in counseling. He reported JH’s medication dose as "up to 10 milligrams, 2 times a day" with a one‑month medication test completed on the seventh of the month, and confirmed an IQ testing appointment in Jackson scheduled for the 25th. Boscher asked the court to order a child trauma assessment (CTAC) for JH and a trauma‑informed evaluation to identify needed services.

Boscher recommended that the parents engage in couples counseling and asked to update the case service plan to reflect that recommendation; the worker said she can obtain signatures and update the written plan. He also noted that Eric and Kayleen had been denied SSI, so ADA accommodations were not considered necessary at that time.

The court and counsel discussed timelines: Boscher asked that required psychological evaluation paperwork be returned “by the end of the week” so Dr. Louder could proceed with evaluations.
