At its Nov. 18 meeting the Paulding County School Board approved several routine action items by unanimous voice votes.
The board voted to renew Amendment 1 of RFP 17-160811.01 for liquefied petroleum gas and equipment with AmeriGas, covering the period beginning December 2025 through November 2026. The board then adopted policy JCDaF, governing the use of electronic devices by students, which the superintendent said was related to HB 340, the Distraction-Free Education Act. Mister Nolan moved the policy; Miss Sauer seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Finally, the personnel report (items 1–54) was presented and approved. Mister Fuller moved the personnel slate and Mister Nolan seconded; the board approved the items unanimously.
All recorded motions in the meeting passed without recorded no votes or abstentions. The board did not discuss changes to the motions during debate.
