The Davis School Board approved acceptance of an offer from Cole West Land Partners to purchase a surplus elementary site in Syracuse for $4,650,000.

Mr. Leffel reported the district declared the property surplus earlier in the year and solicited offers; he said the district received multiple bids and recommended accepting the Cole West Land Partners proposal as the highest and most favorable in timing. "We're recommending tonight that the board accept their offer of 4,650,000 from Cole West," Leffel told the board.

Miss Powell moved to accept the offer and another board member seconded; the motion was approved by voice vote. The sale will proceed under the district’s surplus property procedures, and staff will finalize purchase and sale documentation.
