Fall River City — The board met in open session, handled routine business and approved four fiscal-26 statutory exemptions after returning from executive session.
At about 10:01 a.m., the meeting opened with a reading of the open meeting notice. Speaker 1 stated, “Pursuant to the open meeting law, any person may make an audio or video recording of this public meeting or may transmit the meeting through any medium,” and advised attendees that such recordings are permitted.
Following roll call, Speaker 2 moved to approve the minutes for the open and executive sessions dated Oct. 29, 2025; Speaker 3 seconded. Roll-call votes were recorded as Nancy Hino: yes; Rich Wilson: yes; Miss Gonzales: yes. The motion to approve the minutes passed, 3–0. The board then approved an invoice proof list and the monthly report by unanimous roll-call votes.
Later the board moved into executive session to discuss abatements and exemptions under the statutory citations read into the record (recorded in the meeting as “GLC 30 a, section 21 a 7,” and related GLC citations). Speaker 2 made the motion to enter executive session; Speaker 3 seconded and the motion passed, 3–0. The board reconvened in open session at 10:12 a.m.
After reconvening, Speaker 3 moved “that we approve the following fiscal 26 statutory exemptions, number 60, 61, 62, and 63.” The motion was seconded, and roll call recorded unanimous approval: Nancy Hino: yes; Rich Wilson: yes; Miss Gonzales: yes. The board approved abatements/exemptions nos. 60–63 by a 3–0 vote.
No additional business was raised. The board scheduled its next meeting for Jan. 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., and adjourned at approximately 10:13 a.m.
