Radcliff city staff presented a first reading on Nov. 18 of an ordinance adopting a revised code of ethics for city officials and employees. The presenter said the ordinance was being adopted "pursuant to 65.003" and that it defines terms and standards of conduct for conflicts of interest, receipt of gifts, use of government resources, confidential information, political solicitation, patronage and honoraria.
The presenter said the ordinance also outlines required financial disclosures and sets processes for enforcement, hearings and appeals, including penalties, and that it repeals the previous code of ethics. The full ordinance is available at Radcliff City Hall during business hours or via email request to ashley.russo@radcliffky.gov, the presenter said.
Council took the item as a first reading; no final adoption vote was held at the Nov. 18 meeting.
