The Warren Township High School District 121 board took three formal actions during its Nov. 18 meeting.
1) Consent agenda — The board approved the consent agenda covering routine business: acceptance of gifts, approval of early graduates, disposal of surplus personal property, minutes, safety hazards list, destruction and closure of certain executive session materials, and personnel recommendations. The bills listed on the consent agenda totaled $6,677,948.43. Roll call (Fields, Squires, Pope, Martinez, Anderson, Carlson, DeMonte) recorded unanimous approval.
2) Maintenance pickup truck bid — The board moved to approve the maintenance truck bid and award the contract to Vogler Motor Company. The district received two bids; one was approximately $100 lower. The motion passed on a roll call with all trustees voting to carry the award.
3) Resolution estimating 2025 aggregate levy — After a presentation of levy assumptions, the board voted to approve the resolution estimating the district's 2025 aggregate tax levy. The presenter noted assumptions (7% equalized assessed valuation, 7.65% new construction estimate, CPI 2.9) and an estimated homeowner impact of about $95 on a $400,000 property for the upcoming year. The board recorded unanimous 'Yes' votes on roll call.
All three actions passed; trustees requested follow‑up briefing materials on financial projections and levy‑related details ahead of the Dec. 16 meeting when the board will consider final levy documents for county filing.
