Public comment at the Nov. 17 Tippecanoe County commissioners' meeting featured personnel introductions and a recognition.

Kelsey Moreno introduced herself as the county's new 4‑H extension educator (previously a Spanish teacher and worked with Purdue's Juntos program) and said she will work with youth for whom English is a second language. Will Walls, a former intern, introduced himself as the new 4‑H agent focused on outreach across Tippecanoe and surrounding counties. Commissioners welcomed both staff members.

Kathy Gross introduced Ben Meredith (identified as Indiana ADA Title VI Coordinators Association president and clerk‑treasurer of Martin) and read a statement honoring Paula Bennett for more than 26 years of county service. Meredith and others noted Bennett's roles including executive assistant to three commissioners since 2015, ADA/Title VI coordinator, public information officer and social‑media coordinator; Bennett accepted an award and received applause.

Christy Mayer, an outreach representative for the Indiana Attorney General's Office (Todd Rokita), also spoke during public comment and said she would be at Tippecanoe Public Library from 3–5 p.m. to speak with residents about consumer protection, address‑confidentiality and unclaimed property programs.
