The Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Commission voted on two items at its November meeting.

The commission retroactively approved a Walk Month proclamation for October. The motion to approve was moved and seconded and the item passed by voice vote.

BPAC also approved a statement in support of NDOT's Commerce Street bikeway redesign. The adopted statement recommends a robust, concrete‑protected bikeway between 9th Avenue and 2nd Avenue, cautions against leaving the 2nd–4th Avenue segment unprotected (to avoid illegal parking and conflicts), and requests that BPAC remain involved in design changes and decision‑making. The adopted statement will be circulated to identified recipients including the mayor, the Choose How You Move team and the district council member.

Both items were approved by voice vote; the commission did not record a roll‑call tally in the transcript.
