After a closed executive session to discuss possible employment matters and litigation, the board returned and approved a settlement to resolve a federal litigation matter.

President Rose read a resolution describing a dispute between the district and a vendor (transcript names vary between ‘Crayco Inc’ and similar spellings). The resolution authorizes payment of $150,000 to the vendor no later than Dec. 31, 2025, conditions execution of a stipulation of dismissal with prejudice upon payment, and authorizes district counsel and the board president to finalize and execute the settlement documents.

The motion was seconded and carried by voice vote.
