The Village of Lisle Board held several formal votes during its Nov. 17 meeting:
Consent agenda (items A–G): A motion to approve routine items — minutes, the invoice list for $530,192.94, the October treasurer's report, a special-event permit for the Lights of Lisle holiday event (Dec. 6), a professional‑services proposal by SB Friedman for southeast Ogden/Main redevelopment work, and an estimated property‑tax revenue of $4,924,129 for tax year 2025 — was moved, seconded and approved by roll call.
Ordinance terminating the 2611 Corporate West Drive TIF (UTI site): The board considered an ordinance to terminate the TIF established Aug. 6, 2012, for the 2611 Corporate West Drive redevelopment area (associated with Universal Technical Institute). Village Manager Cook said the TIF is being closed early because EAV increases allowed the district to meet its goals; the ordinance will be filed with the county in January 2026 to begin closeout procedures. The motion passed by roll call.
Ordinance approving a minor amendment to the Lincoln Avenue/Route 53 TIF: The board approved a technical amendment to the legal description for the Lincoln Avenue/Route 53 TIF to insert missing survey language for block 48 as requested following county review; Attorney Drucic characterized it as a Cook County housekeeping clarification. The motion passed by roll call.
Adjournment: The board adjourned the regular meeting and planned to reconvene for a Committee of the Whole after a short break.
Votes and procedure notes: Each item was moved, seconded and passed on voice or roll-call votes as recorded by the Village Clerk. Where motions were routine and uncontested, staff recommended approval and the board followed that recommendation.
