The Delaware County Board of Commissioners approved a slate of routine administrative and land-use items at its Nov. 17 meeting, passing resolutions covering appointments, contracts, appropriations, subdivisions, easements and permits.
Key approvals included reappointing Sai Kile and Justin Navi to the Berkshire Landing New Community Authority Board of Trustees (Resolution 25-961); a four-year renewal agreement with Matrix Point Software LLC to maintain the prosecutor’s civil and criminal case-management system (Resolution 25-962); and a supplemental appropriation tied to an upcoming professional services contract for the Norris Run Ditch project (Resolution 25-963).
Nicole Ford of the Delaware County Prosecutor’s Office described the Matrix renewal as a four-year agreement that "allows us to continue receiving assistance and upgrades to our civil and our criminal case management software." Justin Ivey, director of finance, said the supplemental appropriation is related to a forthcoming professional services contract from the engineer's office for the Norris Run Ditch work.
The board also approved an amendment addressing vehicle-lease pricing (25-964), an owner's agreement for roadway and drainage improvements for Arrowhead at Evans Farm Section 1, Phase A (25-966), corrections to a road-name spelling (25-967), plats and subdivision approvals for multiple developments including Parkside at Evans Farm (25-968), an easement to Suburban Natural Gas Company at the county material storage area (25-969), 14 utility right-of-way permits (25-970), acceptance of Nelson Farms North road into the public system and release of its maintenance bond (25-971), and drainage maintenance petitions for Arrowhead and Parkside at Evans Farm (25-972, 25-973). In every recorded vote on these items the three commissioners voted Aye.
Commissioner Jeff Benton also reported on recent community events, noting he attended a Kroger Marketplace ribbon-cutting and described roughly a $36,000,000 investment in the county; he said another Kroger project is planned for Delaware’s east side.
