The Caldwell-West School District Board of Education met on Nov. 17 and approved the evening's consent and action items in a series of unanimous votes.

A motion to approve the meeting minutes was moved and seconded and passed on roll-call vote with Miss Demartini, Miss Nandalfi Jefferson, Mister Diambola and Miss Grosso recorded as 'yes' (4–0). The board then approved curriculum and technology consent items A–I on the superintendent's recommendation; that motion carried 4–0.

Personnel items (certificated staff A–G and noncertificated staff A–D) were approved on the superintendent's recommendation and carried 4–0. Finance items A–H and facility item A were approved 4–0, as were policy items A and B.

Before adjourning the public portion, a motion to enter executive session at 7:13 p.m. was made and seconded; the board voted to enter executive session. The board president also announced the cancellation of the Dec. 8 meeting and confirmed the board will meet once in December on Dec. 15 at Wilson School; that scheduling decision was presented as an administrative announcement rather than a separate recorded vote.
