Mayor Stair gave a brief administration update about two local projects. He said the town is coordinating with utility companies and landowners on the Sycamore Main Street infrastructure project and that final design work will depend on utility timeframes, rights-of-way and pedestrian and aesthetic considerations. He announced two public outreach meetings for the project: Dec. 10 at Town Hall from 4 to 6 p.m., and Jan. 13 from 5 to 7 p.m., when the town will take public comment.

The mayor also announced that construction will begin at Crossbridge Point, a section of Wildair devoted to housing adults with developmental disabilities. The project includes 17 home sites and is supported by Independent Living for Adults with Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities (ILAD). He said the groundbreaking is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 21 at 4 p.m.

No formal council action was required on either item; the mayor framed the announcements as information and public outreach opportunities.
