The Vienna City Council approved a general‑fund revision moving $375,000 from the capital reserve (account 322) to the streets department (account 5758) for capital outlay on additional infrastructure and parking projects.

Treasurer told the council the transfer supplements an already budgeted $900,000 for infrastructure improvements covering wastewater, roads and other public works, and that the reallocation will not reduce this year's or next year's planned budgeted items. The council voted unanimously in favor of the revision.

City staff indicated the funds will support additional paving and parking related to the refuge walking track project and other street department capital needs; specific project lists will be presented to the mayor and council for approval during implementation.
