Election staff presented the county canvass and the board formally certified the 2025 city/school general election on Nov. 13.

Elections staff reported precinct totals, mail‑in and provisional ballot recommendations and an overall county total of 8,951 ballots after staff recommendations on provisionals were accepted. The presenter summarized precinct‑level provisional recommendations and said "Riley County totals were 8,254 DS300 votes, 505 accepted mail ballots, [and] 186 total provisionals" before staff recommended 143 be counted as valid and 37 not valid for stated registration or postmark reasons.

The board accepted the elections staff recommendations, certified the official results, and noted preliminary turnout excluding provisionals was slightly above 23 percent, up from about 21.5 percent on the prior comparable report.

Commissioners and staff praised the elections team for wide departmental cooperation in administering the election.
