The Margate Community Redevelopment Agency voted unanimously Nov. 12 to approve a series of task orders and budget amendments, authorizing design and construction work aimed at improving Margate Boulevard and city medians and updating the CRA’s fiscal-year budgets.

The board approved Resolution 3a to execute Task Order No. 3 with Chenmore and Associates, Inc., to provide additional civil engineering, landscaping and construction administration services for the Margate Boulevard crosswalk and landscape improvement project. The vote was recorded as "Yes" from Board member Schwartz, Board member Serio, Board member Simone, Vice Chair Rosano and Chair Castellano.

The board then approved Resolution 3b, authorizing Task Order No. 1 with Keith and Associates, Inc. for design, permitting and construction administration of a separate median enhancements project. The CRA also approved Resolution 3c to amend the CRA’s FY24/25 annual budget and Resolution 3d to amend the FY25/26 annual budget; both budget amendments passed on unanimous roll-call votes.

Board members made no substantive changes to the task‑order descriptions during debate; motions were made and seconded, and the roll calls were recorded as unanimous yes votes for each item. The approvals authorize the executive director to execute the task orders and implement the budget amendments as described in the resolutions presented at the meeting.
