The Town of Danvers Planning Board on Nov. 12 unanimously voted to continue consideration of a site‑plan review for a proposed standalone Raising Cane’s restaurant with a drive‑through at 200 Endicott Street to the board’s Dec. 9 meeting. Chair Lou George read a letter from the applicant requesting the continuance “to allow time for the completion of the requested traffic peer review and engineering department responses.”

Josh Morris, town staff, confirmed the request and said the continuance is to allow time for outstanding peer review and engineering comments to be addressed. Jean Hartnett moved to continue the hearing; Michael Decoulis seconded and the motion passed with no opposition.

The continuance keeps the proposed restaurant on the board’s Dec. 9 agenda. The application is in the Town’s Commercial 3 zoning district and will return for further review once the traffic and engineering items are complete.
