The Town Board of Cheektowaga held two consecutive public hearings on a proposed 7 Brew Coffee drive‑through and associated rezoning for a portion of the parcel.
Ari Goldberg of Barclay Damon, representing the applicant, told the board the project had been reviewed by the planning board (which recommended approval), the environmental advisory committee and county and state reviewers. "There's been significant questions from the planning board and EAC about the queuing for this project," Goldberg said, noting that Anthony Pandolfi of Carmina Wood Design and plaza owner John August attended and that the traffic committee had signed off on the submitted queuing analysis.
The first hearing covered a special‑use permit for a double‑lane drive‑through with orders placed via an app and no on‑site ordering; the second hearing addressed a zoning map amendment to change a portion of the parcel from C Retail District to CM General Commercial. No members of the public signed up to speak for either hearing. The board opened and then closed both hearings by motion.
No final vote on the rezoning or special‑use permit was taken at this meeting; applicant representatives said they were available to answer questions and the board closed the hearings to consider resolutions or later action in the record.
