PICO RIVERA — The City Council unanimously approved the second reading and adoption of the California Building Codes (Title 24) and related Title 15 updates at the Nov. 12 meeting.

City staff presented the item as a second-reading adoption; there were no written or oral comments on the record. Councilmember Laura moved to adopt the codes, and Mayor Pro Tem Camacho seconded. The clerk recorded a 5–0 roll-call vote in favor of adoption.

Council did not discuss substantive amendments during the meeting; the action passed as recorded on the consent calendar roll call.
