The Norwalk City Aquifer Protection Agency voted unanimously to accept Meg's Auto Body LLC's reregistration for active vehicle repair and maintenance after staff verified required stormwater controls.

Alexis (agency staff) told the board that Meg's Auto Body submitted a stormwater management plan and provided photo documentation showing the installation of catch-basin filter inserts. Gary, an engineer who prepared the plan, said staff supervised the owner's installation and provided the city with photographs prior to the September 17 deadline.

"They did submit everything and provided photo documentation of the treatment for those two catch basins in advance of their deadline," Alexis said.

An agency member moved to accept the application as complete and Tammy seconded the motion. The board approved the recommendation by show of hands; the chair described the vote as unanimous.

The acceptance means staff will record the facility as complete and the registrant remains eligible for the standard five-year registration term, subject to the agency's ongoing annual inspections.
