The Fall River City Park Board voted on Nov. 10 to remove two street trees after staff inspections determined removal was warranted.

During new business, the board considered a letter from Jared Seriva requesting the removal of a tree at 178 Martha Street. The chair said staff members Darren and Chris inspected the tree and "both are suggesting that they be removed," and Commissioner Faria moved to remove the tree; Commissioner Arrigo seconded the motion and the board approved it by voice vote.

The board then considered a separate request from Sandra Moniz to remove a tree at 1543 Slade Street. Board members confirmed the tree had been inspected and the chair reported the trees were "good to go." Commissioner Faria moved to remove that tree, Commissioner Rigo seconded, and the motion carried by voice vote.

No additional conditions or replacement plans were recorded in the minutes. The board did not provide a roll-call vote in the transcript; approval was recorded as voice votes with "Aye" responses.
