The MacGregor City Council voted Oct. 13 to approve a replat application for 214 Hayes Street that converts a single 14,400‑square‑foot parcel into two 7,200‑square‑foot buildable lots, a planner told council.
Ryan, the city planner, said the property currently contains a structure and that water and wastewater lines are in the street. He told the council the proposal would combine and reconfigure existing parcels to create two buildable lots that exceed the R6 zoning minimum. Planning and zoning recommended the replat.
Council opened and closed the public hearing at the meeting and then approved the application by voice vote after a council member moved to adopt the replat. No conditions or variances were recorded in the public discussion.
The replat could create infill opportunities on the block if future owners meet building and subdivision requirements.
