The Board of Education on Nov. 10 approved a set of personnel actions, including a tenure appointment and multiple administrative hires.
Acting on the interim superintendent’s recommendation, the board approved the tenure appointment of Nicholas Pantolione as principal, effective Nov. 28, 2025. The motion passed on a voice vote: "All those in favor?" the president asked, and members responded, "Aye."
The board also approved appointments across buildings: a middle-school principal appointment (Janelle Lindell) with an assistant principal (Megan Connors), an English teacher hire (Stephanie Gleason), a bus-garage mechanic (Seth Sapussi), and several other district positions and coordinators mentioned on the consent agenda. The consent agenda was approved by voice vote at the meeting.
Salary or tenure dates were presented for several appointments (for example, assistant principal salaries and pro-rated start dates were read aloud during motions). No roll-call vote tallies by individual board member were included in the transcript; the motions were recorded as passed by voice vote.
The board did not change any of the recommendations when voting and indicated support for the appointees; the meeting then continued with routine business.
