- Historic marker: Council approved placement of a historic marker memorializing the Lohman family lynching; the NAACP and other community members spoke in favor and the council voted unanimously to place the marker.

- Hotel Aiken development agreement and proposed city‑owned parking deck: First reading approved; further contract detail, cost estimates and mitigation plans were requested before final approval. Staff said up to $2,000,000 from settlement funds could be used toward hotel stabilization; the deck cost estimate is in the high seven figures.
- Budget amendment to allocate DOT 'C' funds for paving city roads: First reading approved (list of city‑maintained streets included in packet).
- Easement to Dominion Energy to serve the Joint Institute for Workforce Development (mixed‑use building on Newberry Street): First reading approved.
