The ROCORI Public School District board voted to accept a package of donations from its Booster Club, including equipment, uniforms, costumes and an outdoor public-address system.

Speaker 2 introduced the resolution and listed donated items and their reported values: boys and girls golf bags ($3,960), replacement football pants ($1,900), scholarships for activity fees ($1,952), state meals for cross country ($480), softball uniforms and pants ($11,325), dance/jazz costumes ($5,144), and an outdoor PA system ($5,000). Speaker 2 said the district is grateful to the Booster Club and community businesses that support athletics and activities.

Board members asked clarifying questions during the presentation. Speaker 4 asked whether the $480 for state meals represented a single meal or multiple meals; Speaker 2 clarified it covered multiple meals (quarterly and $80 per instance). Speaker 3 identified the likely venue for the outdoor PA system as 'Blattner' (the stadium).

Action: Speaker 6 moved to approve the resolution and Speaker 2 recorded the motion as 'motion by Kayla, second by Matt.' Board members recorded five 'Aye' votes; Speaker 2 announced the resolution passes and again thanked the Booster Club.

The donations will be recorded in district accounts under the accepted resolution and used to support athletics and student activities.
