Atascosa County Commissioners Court approved several contracts and permits on Nov. 10, 2025.

Records contracts: County Clerk Teresa Carrasco presented two agreements with Cofile Technologies Inc.—a vault storage agreement for processed microfilm and a separate three‑year microfilm processing services agreement for $13,650 covering 01/01/2026–12/31/2028 to be paid from the County Clerk Records Management Preservation Fund (account noted in the minutes). The court approved both the storage contract and the processing agreement and authorized the county judge to sign; the County Clerk and staff explained the agreements allow the county to stop producing CDs and provide third parties subscription access via a master database template.

Permits and development: Britney Van Curran recommended releasing the 24‑month maintenance bond for Dairy Road Subdivision Unit 1 (Precinct 1) effective 11/13/2025, which the court approved. She also recommended and secured court approval for a right-of-way permit and five road-bore crossings for Frontier Communications to lay fiber along Christine Road in Precinct 3. The court approved a certificate exception (family split) for the Birdwell family on County Road 339 (Precinct 4). All were approved by motion and recorded as carried.
