Mayor Pro Tem moved to set April 7 as election day; the motion was seconded and approved on first reading. Staff noted this is a first reading and the council will need to take a second reading at its next meeting to finalize the order.

Councilmembers offered brief remarks encouraging civic participation and noting the importance of accurate information during elections. No public-comment controversy or legal challenge was raised during the meeting.
