The Petersburg Borough Assembly approved a motion to hire Stephen Harbour as the new utility director, beginning Dec. 30, 2025, at an annual salary of $160,000.

Manager Giesbrecht and Utility Director Hagerman presented the hire request and emphasized the importance of a six‑month overlap to allow training and continuity before Hagerman’s planned retirement in July 2026.
