At the commission meeting speakers updated the panel on two boat-ramp issues.

Speaker 7 reported that the state previously lacked funds but was preparing to apply for a grant to repair the Lake Earl launch-ramp parking lot; commissioners said the ramp area was busy and state work to gravel the lot had been discussed. "They will apply for their own grant to hopefully get awarded the grant to repair the launch ramp parking lot," Speaker 7 said.

Separately, Speaker 2 asked about the Fred Haight Drive ramp; Speaker 3 replied there was still "a big hole" and it remains a mud hole with no repairs underway.
