House Bill 4726, an amendment to the Social Welfare Act (calendar item 16), passed by roll call with 97 ayes and 3 nays. The House ordered immediate effect on passage.

House Bill 5079, amending the Michigan Penal Code, was considered on third reading with Representative Cara offering Amendment 1. The amendment was adopted on third reading and the bill passed on the final roll call, 75 ayes and 25 nays. The House ordered immediate effect.

House Bill 5080, amending the Code of Criminal Procedure, was taken up with an amendment offered by Representative Carr. The amendment was adopted and the bill passed by roll call, 75 ayes and 25 nays. The House ordered immediate effect.
