The council authorized an employee Christmas breakfast for Dec. 12, voted to cancel the Dec. 18 council meeting, and agreed — pending scheduling confirmations — to reschedule January meetings to Jan. 8 and Jan. 22 to avoid a gap in governance. Council also selected March 7 as the date for the annual volunteer appreciation dinner.

Council members discussed staff availability and historical attendance patterns when approving the calendar changes. The decisions were made by voice vote and will be formalized in published meeting schedules and staff announcements.
