At the Nov. 6 Committee of the Whole, the East Baton Rouge Parish School Board voted to approve a resolution authorizing the superintendent to sign contracts and to accept Cooperative Endeavor Agreements provided by the Louisiana Department of Treasury.

The cooperative agreements specified $50,000 to provide musical instruments to multiple schools and $225,000 to enhance sports medicine, medical and agroponics curriculum at Northeast High School. There were no public commenters on the item. Board member Carla Powell Lewis moved approval; Board member Martin seconded. The board voted in favor by roll call and the motion carried.

The board did not attach further conditions in the meeting minutes; staff will proceed with execution per the resolution.
