The Livingston Parish Council introduced proposed Ordinance 25-29 on Nov. 6 to acquire movable property under the Flood Mitigation Assistance (FMA) program, project number EMT2022-FM-003-0003. The clerk read the ordinance title and identified the homeowner as Juanita Hebert, with the property address listed as 8315 Ronald Road, Denham Springs; a public hearing was scheduled for Nov. 20.

Councilman Waskom moved to introduce the ordinance with a second from Councilman Mangus. The item was presented as an introduction only; no final vote on acquisition was recorded at the Nov. 6 meeting. Staff indicated the matter will return for a public hearing and a subsequent council vote.
