The Redondo Beach Youth Commission discussed that its regular meeting date (the first Thursday of each month) would fall on Jan. 1, a city holiday, and voted to reschedule the meeting to Wednesday, Jan. 7. The motion to move the meeting date to Jan. 7 was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote. Staff will publish the revised notice and update the city calendar.

A staff representative said the city and school calendars were being considered when choosing an alternate date, and that the commission must maintain public notice and a quorum. The police department presentation tentatively planned for a January meeting can be moved if necessary.
