The Pleasant View Planning Commission on Monday tabled consideration of a subdivision plat amendment for a single lot in Deer Crest Phase 4 at 1373 West 4050 North to allow the petitioner and city engineers to resolve easement and storm‑drain corrections.

Planner Tammy said the amendment is intended to put a storm sewer line back inside an easement and to adjust a lot boundary after a pipe was removed and a developer/homeowner agreement. Petitioner Carson Jones told the commission the existing 40–45‑foot easement prevents practical use of a backyard and asked to shrink the easement so the side yard would be usable. City staff said the engineer’s conditions and any required utility letters must be addressed before final approval.

Commissioners and the petitioner agreed the most recent proposed changes were produced within days of the hearing and that the commission could not approve a plat without clear, updated engineering drawings. Commissioner Jeff moved to table the item to the December meeting so city engineering and the petitioner could coordinate updates; the motion passed unanimously.

The action pauses final approval until the petitioner and city staff present revised plats that incorporate the engineer’s red‑line corrections and any required utility signatures. The commission indicated any engineering memo conditions must be satisfied before final signatures are issued.
