Harlingen' The City Commission adopted an ordinance on second and final reading annexing a 4.5'acre tract north of Millennium Drive into the city and assigning an initial zoning of Light Industry (LI). The annexation ordinance extends full municipal purposes to the parcel and binds it to city land'use regulations under the Light Industry district.

The item proceeded without public opposition at the hearing; the commission voted to adopt the ordinance on second reading and the motion carried unanimously.
