Administration told the board it had sent a district message to families listing local food pantries, Harvest Church and other community partners that offer assistance during the holiday season. The presentation emphasized that the National School Lunch Program and National School Breakfast Program remain in place and that breakfast will continue to be provided free every school day.

Administrators said counselors maintain lists of resources and that families in need should contact their school counselor to be connected to available supports. The district said it will forward any community-provided resources it receives to counselors for distribution.

Administratively, the district previewed several items that will appear for formal board action at the next business meeting, including: an agreement in lieu of FAPE consistent with prior templates (approval requested Nov. 19), a grades 1-2 trip to DeSales University in April at a cost of $1,484 to be charged to a student activity account, and a small committee membership adjustment (recreation commission assignment) that will be on the Nov. 19 agenda for approval.
