The Village of Ashwaubenon Plan Commission on Nov. 4 approved a two‑lot certified survey map to separate a DBAT baseball training facility under construction from a remnant parcel associated with the former Ameriprise building.

Aaron M. Schuette, village staff, presented the CSM and said the split is required under code so the remnant property is identified as a lot; under the BP business park zoning district both resulting lots meet the minimum three‑acre lot size and applicable dimensional standards. Staff read recommended conditions of approval that included updating the village approval certificate to Aaron M. Schuette and securing approval from the Brown County Planning Commission.

Troy Hewitt, a representative of Robert E. Lee and Associates, said Lot 1 (the DBAT site) is currently under construction with exterior walls up and foundations poured. He said Lot 2 is the remnant of the former Ameriprise building and is undergoing redevelopment into multiple smaller offices and a church.

Jay Krueger moved to approve the CSM with staff conditions; Chris Atkinson seconded. The commission approved the CSM by voice vote; the chair declared the motion carried.

The approval allows the applicant to record separate legal parcels subject to the listed conditions and any county or village approvals required for redevelopment and building permits.
