Event services reported six in‑house events the week of the meeting and a strong October flea market with about 300 vendors. Staff said PandaFest generated higher traffic than expected and overlapped with peak flea‑market hours and a reptile show, creating Saturday morning congestion. "Since this was a new event for us, we didn't fully understand the scope of what kind of event was coming," the events presenter said; staff credited proactive planning but said they will develop improved traffic patterns for future concurrent events.

Operations staff reported preparations for winterizing irrigation, recent roof repairs in Expo 2, and restroom floor maintenance estimates of $20,000–$27,000 per restroom to refinish floors if needed. Operations will pilot cleaning approaches before committing to costly refinish work.
